Favorites of 2013. Photographs I am especially fond of for one or several reasons.
Not sure how things are going to roll into 2014, but I have some ideas. I’d like to put something on display; I’d like to get something going with the dotcom. I’m gaining momentum. I have prints if you’re interested. I’m open in so many ways, that is my nature; I get it from my parents. I mentioned Jeffershizzle to someone a month or two ago, and they recognized me from the Mid-Year Disposable Camera Retrospective on the front of SFMOMA. I died twice, apparently it was legendary.
I’m still looking for a partner, someone that I can grow with, someone that I can help grow, explore new concepts, build campaigns and cohesive bodies. That’s what I want in 2014. I will still continue to take pictures of people taking pictures - probably for the rest of my life - but I will endeavor to develop more interesting, more though-provoking subsets within a greater body of work.
Truthfully, I never believed I had just one or two shots that conveyed what I believed about a subject at any given moment, or pushed a narrative on a particular topic. I always thought that my images spoke more to my talents and my environment in bulk. My goal is always to create a relationship between you and me, specifically you and me, and jeffershizzle+you was built to support that relationship, but work and work and depression and anxiety and work, so on and so forth. I’m not going to fall off as easily in 2014. I’m taking something I love and transferring some of that positive energy.
I appreciate every single like, reblog, comment and message. I really do. And I wish each and every one of you a spectacular new year, filled to the brim with awesomeness.
You are loved. That is all.
I used a semicolon in the wrong spot a few paragraphs back. I am aware of this.
